Troubleshooting

Motor doesn't rotate.
Motor rotates but doesn't hit.
Motor rotates but doesn't stop.
Insufficient power.
Impact stops in halfway.
No abnormality, however customer points out insufficient power.

Motor doesn't rotate.: 1) If the anvil isn't turable by hand,it is failure of clutch portion.
Remove bolts which are fixing clutch housing and motor housing, then inspect clutch portion.
2) If the anvil is turnable by hand,it is failure of motor portion.
Remove bolts which are fixing clutch housing and motor housing and also handle and motor housing, then inspect motor portion.
Motor rotates but doesn't hit.: Breakage of clutch portion.
Remove the bolts which are fixing clutch housing and motor housing and inspect the clutch portion.
Motor rotates but doesn't stop.: This is breakdown of air open/close valve (F-valve), open/close lever (start lever) of handle section.
For GL type, remove the bolt which fastening handle and motor housing and inspect F-valve and F-lever.
For both pistol and GL types, remove screw sleeve and inspect the parts inside.
Insufficient power.: 1) Abnormal impact sound. Slipping sound.
Measure :
The cause is wearing-out of clutch parts. Remove bolts which are fixing clutch housing and motor housing, then inspect clutch portion.

2) Motor doesn't rotate with great force.
Measure :
a, Pushing level of start lever is insufficient. (Need 8mm or over.) Or, replace worn-out parts, such as start lever, pin and F-bar.
b, The cause is worn-out parts of motor parts or loosening of setting. Remove bolts of the clutch housing, motor housing, handle and motor housing, then inspect motor portion.
Impact stops in halfway.: 1) If abnormality of clutch section.
Measure :
The cause is insufficient lubrication or worn-out of cam. Remove bolts which are fixing clutch housing and motor housing, then inspect clutch section.

2) If abnormality of motor section.
Measure :
The cause is worn-out of rotor blade. Remove bolts which are fixing clutch housing and motor housing and also handle and motor housing, then inspect motor section.
No abnormality, however customer points out insufficient power.: 1) Is the wrench used for fastening work more than the capacity?
Measure :
We suggest to use upper-grade tool.

2) The air-flow is blocked due to worn-out parts of air joint part, such as quick coupling.
Measure :
We suggest to replace the worn-out parts.

3) The air-flow is blocked due to freeze-up of exhaust portion of impact wrench or air joint part.
Measure :
We suggest to carry out drainage of air compressor. Also advisable to use filter or oil for all the better.
