We are using air sander DS-4 and we would like to know whether you have an optional part to use velcro type pad. We want to use even with making alterations to the unit. Please show us the part number and price.: DS-4 doesn't have convertible part to fix velcro type pad. DS-4 is the tool which has high-speed single rotation, so if you use velcro pad with velcro sandpaper, it is danger as sandpaper may fly out.
We would like to recommend you to use applicable sander (dual action and/or orbital sander) when you use velcro type pad.
We are the compressor manufacturer. We received the information from our customer who is using our compressor that air pressure is cut-down unusually when we use Kuken DAC-056S and they ask us to take counter-measure for that. We will appreciate very much if you could give us following information in order to review output and air tank capacity of our compressor. In your specification sheet, you mentioned as at 7,500 rpm free-rotation and air consumption at 0.6M3/min., but is thhis value for howmany MPa ? Is it possible for you to provide the information of air consumption performance curve against air pressure ? We appreciate your kind assistance to this matter.: Using air pressure for dual action sander, DAC-056S is 0.6MPa(Pe) as mention in specification data. We mention same air pressure for other products too.
Secondly, we are regret to inform you that we don't have the data of air consumption performance curve.
Now, as to the cause,

1. First of all, we are concerned whether motive energy of your using compressor is enough and/or its tank capacity is enough comparing with total air consumption of tools which you use at the same time. However, we understand that you are familiar with your customer's condition already as you are a manufacturer of compressor, so we trust the possibility of this cause is very few.

2. Failure of DAC-056S
If the air motor has failure, rotation rate of sander is cut-down. We suppose that you might judge the cause as air-pressure decreasing of compressor because abnormality was occurred on motor of using DAC-056S and its rotation rate was cut-down.

As to the cause this time, above point-2 is also considerable, so please sugget to your customer to inspect or repair DAC-056S too.

How much 8mm width belt sander is widely used generally ? In general, 8mm width belt sander isn't widely used. It is used in limited automotive sheet-metal system (grinding for color removing at spot.) only. Therefore it is not so easy to get belt sandpapaer in the market other than Kuken's. *KBS-8 is applicable with 10/12mm width too.
Generaly how much the width size of multi-purposed belt ? The most obtainable sandpaper size is 12mm or 20mm width which many abrasive paper manufacturers are dealing with.
I bought Kuken's double action sander with 150mm pad diameter through personal trade recently. Is it possible to change it to 125mm ? I am an amateur and don't have any idea.: The screw size to fix the pad is same, so it is fixable. However, the size, weight and height of pad are changed and the balancing is also changed, it may have larger vibration and durability is decreased. We can't recommend from manufacturer's point of view.
