We would like to know the origin of your company name "Kuken".
Our company has started business as private enterprise with the name of "Kuken" on April 1st, 1967. The meaning of company name is to look forward a R&D company for pneumatic machine. As the air tool manufacturer, we use the character of "Air" to our name. When we started business air tool was the absolute product, however, due to the change of society and advancement of technology, the needs for air tool has been changed. Applying our technology which we learned from air tool, we are also going to study and develop machine tool according to customer's needs.
What is the position of Kuken in the air tool industry ?
Air tool is a kind of power tool. Electric power tool, hydraulic tool and
engine tool are available as other tools. The markets for air tools are
separated for industrial, automotive after-sales service (mechanical and
sheet metal), construction industry and for domestic use. We are leading
company and having 30% market share in the automotive after-sales service
for air tool.
