Our FC Wrench System has been developed by new idea which is completely different from conventional "Torque Controlled Impact Wrench System". This is the [Automatic Impact Wrench System] which has both features of [Good workability of impact wrench] and also [High flexibility of electronic control].

When fasten the screw using impact wrench and the torque value becomes high, the returning angle (rebound angle) of wrench clutch on impact becomes big accordingly. This FC wrench system checks the rebound angle, judges the fastening condition and controls the valve to uniformize the torque value for fastening.

By installation of this system to your production line, you are able to observe the line and it judges the result of each work and also send a message through signal lamp and various alarm sounds. As mentioned above, we believe that our FC wrench system will contribute for you to build up reliability of your [Fastening work by impact wrench] which may occupy major part of your assembling operation.

  • One kind of controller is applicable for all sizes of FC wrenches.

Mechanism of impact

Accelation(Norma rotation) Impact clutch is accelated by air motor.

Impact
(Stop-Reverse rotation) Hammer hits anvil and hammer clutch starts reverse rotation by its counter-reaction.

Rebound(Reverse rotation-Stop) Reverse rotated hammer wheel balances with motor torque and stops. (ebound angle between impact - reverse rotation / stop)

Re-accelation
(Normal rotation) Motor gets over rebounding energy and starts normal rotation.

  • SIMPLE IS BEST ! Excellent reliability.------FC wrench doen't have any complex mechanical control portion and it is only conventional impact wrench which has magnetized gearwheel and non-contact megnetic sensor for movement detection of clucth portion. This simple structure enabled to make you free from the troubles which conventional torque controlled wrench had and also durable even in severe working environment.
  • High fastening accuracy------Magnetic sensor detects and electronically controls impact energy of hammer portion, so fastening work with high accuracy has been achieved.
  • Compact size, light weight and simple operation------Same size and weight as conventional impact wrench and simple operation for high workability.
  • Low maintenance cost------FC wrench system can be maintained at similar cost of multipurpose impact wrench. Also maintenance work of the wrench can be finished ate usual service station.
  • Clean air piping is not specially needed------As long as it does not have drainage or extreme air-pressure fluctuation, you can use existing air-piping as is.
  • The wrenches for various sizes from small(M6) to large(M45) are lined up. Also one controller is applicable for all sizes of screws.

Air-Pressure Detection Controller

Our air pressure detection controller(KAC-9103A) has been developed for you to apply the achievement of our automatic impact wrench system (FC wrench system) easily which we have had experiences for 10 years. All the kinds of impact wrenches (such as impact wrench or oli-pulse wrench) are applicable and no specific manufacturer, ,odel and size are not required.
[Operation Principle]
When fastening using impact wrench, pressure fluctuation is caused in the air piping synchronizing with impact.
KAC-9103AOur controller (KAC-9103A) detects pressure fluctuation when impacting by the pressure sensor installed at air piping and check its size, time interval number of hit through the program. Then, it controls solenoid valve to uniformize fastening torque and judges fastening condition, such as fastened number of bolt and working time. If you set this system to your production line, it can be line controller for various purpose too.
Main Features :
  • Exclusive use wrench is not necessary------Your wrench as is becomes torque controlled wrench.
  • Specific wrench size is not required------You can use any wrench without specific manufacturer, model and size with KAC-9103A.
  • Stable operation------Our know-how of "FC Wrench System" are utilized to this system whcih we have had the experiences since 1980 and we can provide you highly stable operation.
  • For operation check of the wrench, monitoring (Bar graph) for [Rebound] and [Number of impact] is builted-in.
  • It has working management function to check fastening fail, shortage number of bolt and working fail.
  • As external output method, signal lamp, alarm sound and relay output are available according to your working contents.
